This brush came to me. I was literally minding my business, managing the things I had and then it came and showed me that sometimes its not everytime management, sometimes try new things.
Like I mentioned in a previous post, I received a care package from sigma late last year. They sent me quite a few things, mostly brushes, a lip product and an eye shadow palette. I already owned most of the brushes they sent me but this I did not own.
I'd seen ads and campaigns on this bad boy but I was skeptical about the whole thing. I was like what will this brush do now that other brushes have not done? @DuchessYetunde on Instagram warned me sha ( If you are reading this, hello bebe) she told me that she had not used any other brush to apply foundation since she touched this. Well I finally used the brush three months after she left a comment and I simply feel like I've been cheating myself.
This brush gives you SEAMLESS application, leaving you with an airbrushed finish. The bristles are shaped in the weirdest way, they are slightly flat on both sides with a pointed ridge at the top, making it impossible to apply anything with it in a circular motion. You can either go up and down or right and left with it in terms of application. The bristles are very dense and soft and this prevents any type of streaking while you use it. The pointed ridge on top is perfect for applying foundation on those hard to reach areas of the face e.g. under the eyes, by the sides of the nose and around the mouth. It is also makes it perfect for applying cream contour products.
All in all, Sigma was very innovative with their 3D brushes. Like who woulda thought that a foundation brush could be shaped like this? I'm going to go on ahead and purchase the smaller 3D brush because I can't stop thinking of the kind of precision it would allow.
