Elf Brush Cleaner

guys sorry for the lack of posts. I've been so busy these past three weeks! I'm back now though and I pray I remain here, lol.

This is one of those products that I wanted to try for so long. I remember just staring at it on the Elf website, wishing desperately that Elf would miraculously decide to start delivering to Nigeria. The price looked so good!! I finally managed to get my hands on it and it wasn't even planned. I went into Ebeano supermarket a while back to grab some things and there it was! I was like finally! I had actually repurchased the Mac brush cleanser a day before so I was looking forward to comparing the two. The Mac brush cleanser retails for N3,500 and this cleaner didn't even sell for half that price.

Fast forward to this day and age...

I was actually very open minded about this product. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as any of my more expensive brush cleansers but I at least expected something decent. This brush cleaner is just very stressful! I know that most of you have never heard anyone describe a beauty product as stressful but this cleaner is stressful jooor. I actually just used it again on a clean shading brush that I purposely got dirty and it couldn't even get the shadow off it. I just kept spraying and spraying and in all honesty very little was actually happening so I stopped stressing myself and used my mac brush cleanser to clean the brush. The cleaner is supposed to be perfect for spot cleaning but I honestly don't believe that it can spot clean anything. I mostly used this on eyeshadow brushes and I'm complaining, imagine using this on a dirty foundation or concealer brush, *shudders*.

Do I recommend this? No. The Mac brush cleanser (which is still my favorite brush cleanser) will give you about 4 times the quantity you get with this and 100 times the quality.
