I started playing around with makeup because I used to have very bad skin. I was breaking out a lot at the time so I thought that covering everything up with makeup was going to solve the problem (boy was I wrong, smh) It took me a while to realise that for makeup to actually look good, your skin had to look good.
I figured out how to take care of my skin and makeup became nothing but fun.
From the pictures above, you guys can clearly see that I have a friend from Imo state who is almost white, freckles and all (odiegwu). The shade of foundation that I used on her face, I probably won't be touching in a long time. Me and my baby Udoka go way back, having a friend who has always been there since your JSS1 is not beans, lol. She was like Dimma are you sure that red lipstick will look good on me? I literally wanted to pinch her mouth. O makwa ka osi acha? (does she know how fair she is) kilode? Green lipstick would look good on her!
She came to visit last week so we decided to play with her face,

Dear Dimma,
ReplyDeleteWords cannot express how much i love your make up skills, I have learnt some tips from you and I must say that you are skilled in this craft. I like the way you made her up and as most YouTube gurus say Mac Ruby Woo goes with all skin tones. The make up is beautiful
Best Wishes,
Peace.
Job well done! She looks stunning! xx

Love your disclaimer... it made this post down to earth. I must say i like the freckles on your friend's face, i think freckles are added beauty features. The make-up is also lovely and i feel it will even be much more lovelier when she gets just a tiny little bit oily on the face. I love my make-ups like an hour after. I think you guys should also experiment with making up with her freckles still showing a bit.... :)
