I realized recently that I had acquired a good number number of Nivea body care products. It wasn't something that I had put serious thought into, I didn't make any type conscious decision to buy only Nivea products however I realized after I bought my last body lotion that I had been doing just that.
Nivea Smooth Nourishing Hand Cream: My current obsession started with the Nivea Smooth Nourishing Hand Cream . I bought this after I'd had yet another tube of The Body Shop's Almond hand and nail cream burst in my bag. I love that hand cream, believe me, I even have a review of it on this blog, see HERE. It is really hydrating but not the cheapest so it really irks me that it has a packaging that is so unreliable. One minute its in your bag and in the next, you have a hand cream explosion in that same bag. The 30ml tube of the Nivea hand cream was selling for just one pound the day that I decided to try it, I threw two into my basket thinking that I had nothing to loose. However I did not expect it to be as good as it is. It has a nice scent, one that isn't overbearing but most of all it hydrates really well. It does not leave your hands feeling greasy or oily and you also don't have to wait around for it sink in. You can get most Nivea products here in Nigeria but I'm yet to find this anywhere.
Nivea Soft Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing Cream: This is actually the first Nivea product that I remember ever loving but I think I stoped using it during harmattan a few years back, I switched to something else and completely forgot about it. It was also really cheap at the time, I think that I paid between N400 to N600 for it then. I started using it again early last year and couldn't believe that I actually managed to forget this product. It has consistency that isn't too thick for a cream and feels very light weight on the skin, irrespective of the fact that it hydrates intensely. The scent is really soft and it does not linger. If you have normal to dry skin from the neck downwards like me you might have to switch to something more hydrating during the dry season. However, this cream should work for any other season. It comes in a 200ml cup and you can get it from Shoprite for N869
Nivea Nourishing Body Lotion: The name for the this product actually differs from country to country but the one thing that remains the same is the deep blue packaging and the word Nourishing. It comes as a body milk and as a body lotion but I have the lotion in this post. It is targeted at people with dry to very dry skin so I bought it during the harmattan since my skin becomes really dry then. It is intensely hydrating and very rich. It is actually thicker than most lotions if you ask me and not the easiest to work into the skin but believe me when I say that my skin glows afters after I've applied it. It comes in a 250ml bottle and you can buy it from Shoprite for N899

Nivea is bomb! I have pretty dry skin so I use the Nivea nourishing body milk (for some reason the lotion is quite hard to find here so I just went for the body milk), I find it so moisturing. I love it even more because it has almond oil in it so that leaves my skin looking a bit glowy and radiant. I started using it through Makeupshayla's recommendation and honestly I'm glad I did because all the other lotions I've tried don't moisturize my skin one bit! It got to a point I started getting really annoyed, but yeah I really like it I've been using it for about a year now so that's great. Need to try out more Nivea stuff
