Sunny Isle
Sunny Isle Jamaican Black Castor Oil is processed the traditional way. Our Organic seeds are roasted and ground by a manual Grinder and then the crushed beans are boiled to extract the 100% pure, dark brown, organic oil. It's the best quality oil on the market. Why you may ask? Compared to other brands it is the darkest Jamaican Black Castor Oil because we roast our beans longer which produces more Ash Content in our oil than any other oil on the market. More ash content increases the effectiveness of the oil. Therefore the Sunny Isle brand will strengthen increase the length of your hair faster than any other brands on the market today.
Me
I've had this for a couple of months now. A lady recommended it after I had a horrible braid experience. There are different types of castor oils but the black Jamaican castor oil always comes highly recommended especially when it comes to hair growth. It took me a while to actually cop this because for some reason, Casabella was always out of stock whenever I showed up.
I've been using it a lot lately with visible results. I apply it mostly on on my edges, it is very moisturising so I just massage it into the scalp and apply what's left on my palm on my hair. I also use it on days that I deep condition, I add a little bit of it to the conditioner together with a few other oils and stir.
This is by far the thickest oil that I've ever used. The oil has a dark brownish colour, it is in no way as dark as it appears in the bottle. It has a roasted nutty smell to it, a bit strong when you first apply it but no, it does not linger.

The only down side for me is the bottle, I wish it came in a dropper bottle.

DeleteTLC, in Jesus Christ we trust. With the dose of wisdom and blessing from God. I saw a dramatic change within my short stay in West Africa. I reckon TLC to your hair the edges will grow. I used Dr Miracle hot grow, and my edges and hair took a blessed good turn.
ReplyDeleteBe consistent with your hair routine, be it natural or relaxed. - avoid the braids for now that pull your edges. Go for styles that will help the edges relax. Keep braids for at most 2weeks.
Make sure you got a silk wrap every night and apply any pomade.
Drink lots of water, every two weeks at least wash/steam your hair. Those with relaxed hair go for like month before the next relax. Hopefully a hair dresser can do the ceramic fusion for you in between.
Have a healthy diet, you are alive coz your Mama made sure you had a balance diet.
Relax, stress not good, and have a health sleeping habit.
back to Yankee - , hairdresser was amazed and ehmmmmmm the weather men, not easy hustling. so did the big chop and hair is looking health.
If you in Africa you got a good advantage, be it Jamacian oil or Dr Miracles hot grow. The water is chemical free, weather, organic foods, hair maintenance cheap.
JBCO has been a lover of mine since 2011, didn't work wonders on my edges or hair at first, but then surprised me with the extra softness and definition in my curl pattern after a couple of months into my natural hair transition and now lets just say my hair and JCBO are engaged and loving our relationship, life without JCBO is like living with no air *sigh*

ReplyDeleteI've started using this product a while ago and it surely does work wonders on natural hair! at first i was kinda skeptical because their was so many types of Jamaican black castor oil and i didn't know which one was pure or real. after awhile i came a cross it....FINALLY I LOOKED ALL OVER FOR YOU, and when i used it, it made my thick hair soft and manageable. i also used it on my edges, that broke off about 2 years ago from tracks and braids, big mistake, and it started growing again. omg i will forever buy this product unless there's a reason not to which is impossible!
